Now that September is here, it makes me long for the days of fall. I love all the different seasons but fall is probably my favorite.
Being from East Tennessee, I love the Vol Fever that goes on around here during football season.
I love going to Carver's Orchard in Cosby, TN and smelling all the different varieties of apples. We usually go home with enough to can about 80 jars of apple butter.
Speaking of which, I do love home made apple butter. Especially on cool fall mornings when I get up and fix some bacon and biscuits and open a jar of our apple butter.
I also love how Gatlinburg decorates for fall. It is gorgeous to just go up them on a nice fall day and walk the streets of town.
And of course, my all time favorite is driving through the Great Smoky Mountains during the fall. There are no words to describe the beauty.

I'm so looking forward to going to Carver's....one of our favorite places to visit and the food at the restaurant is sooooo good! I've already decorated our front porch....couldn't wait!!!! Happy Fall to you, too!
