Friday Foto Friends

I've been waiting to share my Christmas decorations and I thought Friday Foto Friends would be a great opportunity to do that. So here it goes.

The Santa on this end table was normally our tree topper, but he is a little too big for the smaller tree I am using this year.

The water in the snow globe is starting to turn yellow, but this thing holds a wealth of memories. We bought it 15 years ago when the first grandchild was just 2. Papaw would set and wind it and Garret would be mesmerized by the train that runs around the outside. It became a tradition and every Christmas eve, the grandkids would gather around him while he would wind the train. I thought it was fitting to set my Santa with all my Grands listed on his list in front of that.

My Home Interior Santa bank that's about 35+ years old.

One of my Christmas tea miniatures that I got at a yard sale for $1.

One of my favorite miniature tea sets. I love the cardinals on it.

My candle Christmas trees that I have had since 1989. Hubby made them when he worked at Melanie's Candles in Gatlinburg. I picked up the two little carolers at a local antique store for $1.95 each.

I love Santa's and little tins to decorate with at Christmas. I've had the little rocking horse tin for about 30 years and the bear one I found at a yard sale for a quarter a few years back.

More of my Santa's. I love pencil Santa's. I need to find some more.

Some of my fave Christmas items. The big deer was made in ceramic class by my mother. The little tree was painted by my oldest grandson when he was about 4. The Santa was one my hubby bought me many years ago. The three vintage dear and the vintage sleigh are things I found on Ebay that we had when I was a little girl. But my favorite Christmas thing I have is the little plastic basket of poinsettias. Mamaw Eden took me to town on the bus when I was 5 and she bought me this for .10 cents at McCroy's Five & Dime. That makes it almost 55 years old. It is one of the first things I set out every Christmas.

More Santa's on a runner my mom made for me.

The pillows in Papaw's chair were made by my sister-in-law over 30 years ago.

Some of my bears.

My $1.95 special from Hobby Lobby last year.

My mother made me this about 3 or 4 years ago. She is 86 years old and still works on her crafts whenever she can.

One of my whimsical wreaths that has always been my favorite.

My baker's rack decor.

My candles like we had when I was a child and my Home Interior angels from over 30 years ago along with a big Santa that Mom painted in ceramics many years ago.

My little peppermint trees. I love these and anytime I find a new size or different pattern, I pick it up. Stuck some sparkly pipe cleaners in my Santa cup till I can get me some candy canes.

My coffee table. I have had the cat plate for so many years I don't know where I got it. But it says Franklin Mint on the back. Teapot was $2 at a yard sale and the Santa plate was .50 at a yard sale. Mom made me the runner.

My Home Interior Nativity.

More of my Nativities.

My cardinal corner. The little sign has a tiny cardinal dotting the i in the word winter.

My train afghan.

And my tree. It's the smallest one I have ever had, but I am really loving it.

So there you go, from my house to yours, Merry Christmas to you all!
