Winding down

When I got back from vacation, I went straight back to work the next day. I am off today which means I can get my fall stuff out (finally) and catch up on decorating. Tomorrow launches my Fall Foto Launch of some amazing decor from friends and family. But today is my last posting from my finds from the beach that I wanted to share with you. The first one being this adorable little ghost. He will be a good addition to my Halloween decor.

I have been looking and looking for a valance for my small bathroom window that had blue & tan and would go with my shower curtain that is blue, tan, and sea shells. It's a beach theme room and I found these large napkins that I am going to try to use to sew together and make a valance. We'll see.

I want to do a small Christmas tree in every room but how do you do that in a beach bathroom. Easy when you find a cute little shell tree at the beach.

I love boxes and tins for Christmas. My new favorites.

Picked up my annual new Christmas coffee cup for .99 cents.

But my thrill came when I found the vintage Pyrex mixing bowls that go with my new mixer I got for my birthday. These are normally about $40 for the set and I found them for $21.

I have a friend who is wanting to collect Pyrex. In one of my pay-it-forward moments, I bought this little piece for $5 for her to start her collection.

The reason I was paying it forward is because another friend (we all three work together) said her Mamaw gave her some Pyrex and she didn't want it so she gave it to me. EEK! It is two pieces of the Friendship pattern that I have been wanting so bad. This is a hard to find pattern because it is one of the most popular. I got these for FREE! You gotta love great friends!

Well, that's it. Stay tuned tomorrow to start our tour of homes with my families and friends fall decor.
