If you have a cat and you celebrate Christmas, chances are you have a cat and the Christmas tree story. Lots of people go through this combo every year. I had my sweet K.C. for 17 years before we had to put her to sleep. She was a 100% house cat. Even afraid of the outside. Every year she would lay and stare at the tree but never bothered it while we were up. We never saw any evidence of destruction when we got up each day. Then she would saunter out of a bedroom and she would have a piece of icicle on her back. So I knew she had been under it. Then when we would put Christmas away in January and move the furniture back around, we would find a pile of about 4 or 5 balls from the bottom back of the tree that she had "stored" under the couch. She did that every year, but never anything where you could tell she had been near the tree. It was so funny.
