The Party Girl

Growing up, my mom would occasionally hold a Tupperware Party or a Stanley Party (does anybody remember Stanley products?)

Anyway, over the years I have attended Home Interior parties, Tupperware, and Mary Kay. In the past few years I have become addicted to Pampered Chef parties and Thirty-One Gifts parties. In addition, I attend five birthday parties per year for the twins. We have Young at Heart dinner/get-togethers at church. We are constantly having some type of event at church that involves a girls night out. All in all, I've turned into the original party girl. It seems like my husband is forever checking the calendar and saying "Now, tomorrow is the such and such party, right?"

Well, it appears that way for September. Last Thursday was our Young at Heart get-together at church. Saturday I attended a Pampered Chef party at a friends house. Tonight, I'm attending a Lia Sophia jewelry party. I have never been to one of those so I'm looking forward to it.

Then Saturday afternoon I will be going to my granddaughters birthday party. She'll be turning 7.

Sunday is our 128th homecoming at church so we will be having dinner and singing under a big tent outside and spend the day worshipping.

Then, next Thursday I will be going to a Scentsy party, which I have never been to. That just about finishes out the parties for the month of September. But we will kick right back off again when my youngest Grandson turns 1 the first of October.

So I guess I am becoming somewhat of a Party Girl.
