Weekend wrap up

It started out Friday with my last box arriving from Thirty-One with my add on kit for the new fall line. I am so glad they brought back the make up case that everybody uses for a bible case.

I made a run to the Half-Off Scrapbook store and picked up some Halloween 8 1/2 x 11 sheets at 25 sheets for .99 cents. Then they take 50% off at the register of everything in the store. So I got the 25 sheets for .50 total.....I definitely got my .02 cents worth.

Some of the sheets I got were for Christmas.

Some of my projects will require a bigger sheet so I got some of the .99 cents sheets which ended up being .49 cents each.

Same goes for some Christmas ones for .49 cents each.

They always throw in some freebies in your bag every time you buy anything.

Then on Sunday, I needed some antique therapy so I went to Jefferson City to Farmhouse Antiques. I might add I drove the 21.3 miles to get there in a torrential downpour with lightening, thunder and poor visibility all around me. It wasn't like that when I left home, but about 2 miles down the road it did sneak up on me.

But it was so worth the trip. Not every booth is all antiques so I did find a great bargain on this lighthouse. I don't know if it is going in the grandkid's beach room or my beach bathroom.

And I found this cute little pencil Santa candle holder. I love pencil Santa's so I snatched him up.

I found an extremely good deal on this 503 Pyrex pan in the Early American pattern.

But my favorite find of the day was this 043 in the Empire Scroll Vine pattern. It is my first piece in this pattern and I am thrilled.

As you can see, it was a very successful weekend.
