Happy New Year!
My word for 2020 is...
And when I think of shine, I think of stars. So I want to shine brighter, do better, succeed at whatever goals I set for myself and hopefully in the process shine my light on somebody else's life to brighten their day.
Since that will also mean doing whatever makes me happy, it will hopefully make somebody else happy along the way. I think my color scheme for this year is going to be pinks and peaches with some tan and bronzes thrown in.
And I have turned into a real girly girl over the years. So obviously there's going to be pink sparkle throughout my life at some point this year.
I am going shopping on Saturday. I want to find nail polish in these shades and start my ear out with some sparkly new polish.
I want to try to touch at least one life a day in a special way. Whether it is by spreading some Joy, giving a hug, or simply leaving them with a smile.
2019 was a fabulous year for me. I'll be blogging more about that tomorrow. But I can say that one lesson I learned last year was to quit worrying about what other people say or think and to do what makes me happy.
