Yard sales are dangerous....

I have a love hate relationship with yard sales.

I love GOING to them because I find amazing items at great prices. It's a great way to feed my vintage obsession by getting some antique items at a steal.

I hate GOING to them because I end up over a period of time having way too much awesome things that I really didn't need to get.

I love HAVING them because it is a great way to get rid of clutter that you didn't really need in the first place and you can usually make your money + more back when you sell your stuff you got a yard sales and ended up not using or needing any more.

I hate HAVING them because I usually get so excited about how much I have to sell that I grab things that I think I don't want or need any more only to regret selling it years later.

I was remind of this the other day when I saw a picture of mine of an Indiana glass chip and dip bowl in the basket weave pattern. Several years ago, I bought this at a yard sale for just $2.00 for the set, including the bracket. That is unheard of! I had it for a long time and ended up never, ever using it so I sold it for like $10 for the set. Fast forward to Facebook reminding me about when I bought it and me getting depressed because I didn't use it and sold it. But now, I put out chips and salsa for the kids to munch on during the holidays and no longer have this amazing bowl that I could have used for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Kicking myself right now. Call me crazy.
