Awhile back, I was given a camera from a friend. Long story short, I was very happy to receive it. It is a Panasonic and has 16MP with a 10X zoom. My phone is 5MP with a 4X zoom so you can imagine how excited I am to have a camera that I can get better pics for. It has a zoom lens that extracts and retracts. I'm loving it.
So I took some pics to test the zoom. This is the field across from me. See the big tree? Beside it is the little tree. Beside it is just some tall weeds. At the end of my driveway is a (I think) pink azalea bush.
So I zoomed in for the same pic and captured the little tree and the weeds.
I zoomed out some and moved about 6" to the right and got a better picture of my pretty flowers, whatever they are.
So then I pointed the camera at just the bush and zoomed some more and really brought them close.
But I especially loved standing on the porch and taking a pic of my neighbors bird feeders in his yard.
And zoomed in to catch a female cardinal at the feeder. It was so neat.
Now maybe I can get some good picture for Friday Foto Friends. It may be hard to get good ones for tomorrow since my car is in the shop so I won't be going anywhere. But I'll get some soon.
