Recipe Hunt

I need an idea. I want to try a new dessert for our church homecoming this Sunday, but I'm tired of the same old recipes. I normally take chocolate cake with chocolate icing, or spice with caramel icing or Reece peanut butter brownie triffle.  I want to make something different. I'm looking for a recipe for a dessert that can be made very easy and does not need to be refrigerated. I'm looking for something that doesn't have to "cool" before another step is done (like cake) and something that doesn't involve a lot of "set up" time in case I need to make it Sunday morning.

Any ideas, ladies? I'm open to suggestions.

Yes Cheese Kugar

2 cans of crossiants
2 packages cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 egg

Line a 9x13" pan with one can of crossiants.
In a seperate bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar and egg yolk.
Spread over crossiants, lay 2nd roll of crossiants on top and brush with egg white, bake at 350 for 20-25 min (until crossiants are golden)
Serve plain or with diced berries... SO YUMMY!
