Thank you to our Veteran's

Thank you to the fine men and women who have served our country. In the movie, A Few Good Men, someone asks Commander Jo Galloway (Demi Moore) why she cares so much about the men they are attorneys for. I love her response "Because they stand on a wall and say, "Nothings going to hurt you tonight. Not on my watch." So thankful to have men in my family who have stood watch over our country while we were safely ensconced in our homes and enjoying our freedom.

A special thank you to the men in my family. My Daddy, Luther "Luke" Garretson. I may be biased but I think my daddy was very handsome.

My Uncle (daddy's brother) Kenneth Garretson.

My nephew, Jacob Garretson. He is my brother Andy's son.

My mom's brother, my Uncle Charles "Charlie" Eden.

My Papaw, Carey "Ted" Eden. He is Mom's dad.

These fine men served in different branches and I have had other generations of fine men in the military in my family. Overall, we have had men who served in the Navy, Army, Marines, Air Force and even the Coast Guard. We had all the armed forces covered at one time or another.

Thank you to all our Veterans.

Wow.....your son looks so much like your Uncle Kenneth. Thanks for sharing this Veteran's Day post. I should have mentioned it, but so many of you linking up say it much better than I could. Hope you have a great weekend!
