Weekend wrap up....

Well, I am day 3 of my three day weekend. I am very happy with my Saturday shopping trip. I didn't get a lot of stuff, but got things I really liked. Starting with this little heart ornament from Hobby Lobby. I couldn't believe that I only bought one thing in the entire store. I used my 40% off and got it for just $1.79.

I did find some great items at Dollar Tree. Some were for Valentine's and some were for other things.

Then we went to Walmart where I got a vinyl tablecloth for the kitchen table for just $3.84 and a matching dishtowel for the oven door for .97 cents. I use vinyl in my kitchen because I use it for baking and cooking preps and it cleans up easy. I also got some new nail stuff but more about that on another day.

Later that evening, I got a call from my daughter. She had been to Target and bought me this little bucket for my Valentine decor.

She also got me this little button jar there. Isn't it cute.

In my storage when I was putting up Christmas, I found a little dishcloth I made several years ago for Valentine's.

So I started putting some things together. This has a little dog, the cup, the vase and the flowers I got at Dollar Tree. Notice the new tablecloth and the dishtowel is on the oven door. I have all this new stuff for just $8.84

Then I rummaged around the house and found items that were red and pink to go with my new stuff. So my three tier stand I already had for Christmas is now for Valentine's. I spent $1 on the flowers, $1 on the stuffed bear, $1 on the candle with the words, and $1.79 on the fabric heart. My daughter bought me two things so that means I am out of pocket $4.79 for this entire display. Here is one side of it.

And side 4. I still have to get a tablecloth for my dining room table and then I will take a final picture of where it will be sitting.

Today I am focusing on getting the rest of the house cleaned up and eating some cinnamon rolls. Have a great day.

Yours looks great (as always!)!! I hope to have mine done by the end of the week. We haven't had time to get out to shop yet. I don't have much that will work for Valentine's Day here in the house. I'll post about it!
