These are a few of my favorite things...

I love Thirty-One. I'm going to a meeting today and can't wait to see what are amenity is. We always get great products for attending the meeting. I got to unpack an order this week that had some really cool items. Thought I'd share some of my faves today.

I love this little piggy coin purse.

His little curly tail on the back was too precious.

I've been trying to decide if I want an organizing shoulder bag. I wasn't sure. My daughter has one and I've been growing to like it. Then I saw this pattern in it and have decided it is going on my wish list.

Same purse in a beautiful gray. And that lavender initials just sets it off. Love this one as well.

This new cosmetic bag with a coordinating zipper pouch is just too cute in the Woodblock Floral pattern. It's one of my favorite new patterns.

This was the first time I got to see a bag in person that had the new collegiate logos. They are awesome.

This organizing pack turned out really nice with the personalization. It is going to replace a diaper bag for a toddler. What a great idea.

I am loving the new Your Way collection. This cube is gorgeous in the new Party Punch pattern.

The Easy Breezy tote will be a favorite for the beach this year. I'm thinking about getting one of these in the Island Damask pattern. They are perfect for holding plenty of towels, lotions and a good book for a day at the beach.

This is probably my favorite item of the party. I love the Cindy Tote anyway, but this new railroad denim with the orange lettering turned out gorgeous.

My other most favorite item is this Organizing Utility Tote for baseball games.

I use one of the Organizing Utility Totes to carry my crafts and goodies to Sunday School class for Pre-K. It is an older pattern and has my initials on it. But seeing this gave me an idea for a new one for my Pre-K SS class. I'm getting one in black from the Spirit Collection. I'm going to have the crown icon-it on the background in lavender and then in platinum lettering I'm going to have it monogrammed with Kids of the King. I can't wait to order it. I hope it turns out as great as this one did.

Remember my Inside Out Tote I earned for free? Well, here is the same bag in the Lotsa Dots/Island Damask pattern. This Island Damask is probably my favorite of all the new patterns.

Now that I have actually seen one of the Retro Metro Wallets, I am going to have to get me one.

They are super soft and have plenty of room.

My other wish list item is the new Keep It Caddy. I think I'll order my Organizing Utility Tote this month so I can add this little cutie onto my order for just $5.00. I love a bargain.

I love the assorted pockets on the back and the ends.

I love the way this zipper pouch turned out. Isn't it cool how her initials when monogrammed like this end up being aBc. Love it. It's going to make a little girl very happy.

The turquoise pop pattern sure makes a neat zipper pouch. I love these big zipper pouches. I want one for my bible to go in to put in my new bag when I get it.

I need a new thermal tote and I think I might get this pattern. It is so whimsical with the combination of patterns on the front.

And this pattern on the back. This one was just too cute for words.

What is your favorite Thirty-One product or pattern?

It's Date Day!

Hubby and I have a standing date every Friday. We don't do a lot, but we try to go somewhere or go out to eat or something. But a snowstorm, an ice storm, torrential downpours and a tummy bug have kept us from our "date" four weeks in a row. We are going out today and I am so excited. I don't know where we will go or what we will do, but I'm hoping to eat at Applebee's, Texas Roadhouse or Famous Dave's.

Hubby hasn't gotten to go antiquing or thrifting since he decided to collect milk bottles. So we may go to that big flea market I was telling you about or to a local antique store. He has several bottles he wants for his collection, but the one he wants to find the most is something with Borden's on it since we were both raised on Borden's milk. And if Elsie the Cow is on it, he will be even happier.

And if we do, I may just have to keep my eye out for some Pyrex. I told somebody the other day that I was becoming a Pyrexaholic. Doesn't that sound like some kind of dinosaur?

We did use some of our Pyrex for supper last night. It was delicious. We had breakfast for supper.

We tried some Lay's Bacon that was on sale for $2.99 which is an awesome price for bacon. It was out of this world. I'm thinking a bacon sandwich for breakfast today with the leftovers.

For dessert, I had some of my newest addiction. Luigi's Orange Sherbet. Low fat and vitamin C and the best stuff you will ever eat. The thing I love about it is that our Food City carries it for 10 for $10. That means I can get them for a buck a piece. I could easily eat one pint at a time, but I usually stretch it out for 2 or 3 servings.

Though last night, I ate 1/2 the carton. One good thing about the amount I eat, it is giving me a reason to use all those coffee cups I keep buying that I don't drink coffee from. Now that I have found a good use for my cups, I'm going to start buying some more that catch my fancy. This is my favorite one.

I got some new goodies to share this week. I love when I go to the mailbox and get a freebie. The VFW sends me labels all the time, but this week they sent me a new calendar. That is one organization I do not mind making donations to. Isn't this gorgeous. It's going in my purse this morning.

I also got a new nail file in the snail pattern and a new key fob in Island Damask from Thirty-One. I love them.

But the most exciting thing is my new Timeless Wristlet. I absolutely adore it. It is going to be my "go to" piece for shopping in flea markets, yard sales and antique stores. No bulky purses to get in the way. My cell phone fits perfectly in the little pocket and the wristlet strap makes it so easy to carry. This is the new Party Punch pattern which is the new Chevron rage this year.

And the inside has plenty of pockets for ID, cards, cash or change.

Well, time to eat some breakfast and get ready for my big date today. Happy Friday!

Happy Valentine's Day

It's the day of Love. Do you have any special plans? Hubby is off today so we are just going to hang out together. Not sure if we are going anywhere or just stay at home.  I was looking for a picture of me and Hubby to show today. We neither one like to have our picture taken and I am usually the one taking them. I found this one from one of our trips somewhere back in the late 80's. Both of us had such long hair and what was up with the HUGE glasses. Hubby's beard was so long and bushy. This just cracks me up. I think we need to get a recent photo taken together...SOON!

Hubby gave me the key to his heart for Valentine's Day. It is a little necklace I have been drooling over. Keys are one of the symbols Thirty-One uses a lot, especially in their earlier days. I've been wanting a key necklace for quiet sometime so I was thrilled to pieces to get this one.

Thirty-One was based on the principals in Proverbs 31 so anytime I see something from Proverbs I love it. In the card Hubby got me was a bible verse: He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord. - Proverbs 18:22. The whole card was very romantic. He's such a wonderful Hubby.

I entered a contest at Everyday Ruralty. Ms. Patrice is giving away a pair of beautiful glass earrings  from Uncommon Goods made from the remains of broken vintage depression glass. The winner gets to pick pink or green. I love the pink. And with them being vintage? Well, hello, they are so perfect for me. What an awesome Valentine's gift to win. Hop over to her giveaway and sign up for your chance to win.

I visited Uncommon Goods site and fell in love with this Grandma Necklace

This Grandma has five very special sweethearts in her life. I want to take time today to tell my babies Happy Valentine's Day from Mamaw.

Happy Valentine's to Mamaw's favorite sweethearts. I love you all.

Pyrex Around the World on Wednesday

It is always interesting to me how certain areas are Pyrex poor while other areas have an abundance. I took a trip around the world (well, the U.S. anyway). It fascinates me what value others place on Pyrex when they are selling it. You can tell from the prices that some people know the value of what they have and some people don't. And some don't really care...they just want to get rid of it. Here are some I found from across the US on Craig's List.

This set of fridgies is in Washington for $49 for the set. Tad on the high side.

One of the most popular and most beloved prints, the Butterprint. This is in Pennsylvania for $10.

A partial set of Cinderella Butterprints. These can get a little expensive, but these 3 pieces are for sell in Pennsylvania for $10 for all three pieces. Unbelievable.

This is the Hamilton Beach Pyrex mixing bowl set that I love. I have the big bowl and now I want the one with the pour spout. I paid $12 for the big one. This entire set is only $15 in San Diego.

Seattle always seems to have the most Pyrex and the best deals. This divided dish in the pink daisy is only $10. I want to find a couple more of these divided dishes now that my sister suggested using them to serve snacks - candies in each side or chip and dip or salsa and chips. I need to find some of these.

Some of the people from Seattle must realize the value of collecting. This mint condition set of mixing bowls in Butterfly gold with the box is going for $95. Too rich for my taste.

Check out these solid color bowls. Not sure if they came as a set like this or not and not sure what they are called but they are all four Pyrex and he is selling them for $25 for the set in Pennsylvania.

This listing was in Maryland and they are asking $15 for ALL of these as one set. That is like $3 per piece. WOW! I would pay that just to get the woodland loaf pan on the bottom right.

Here is another one of the pink daisies divided dish. This one is in Knoxville for $20.

And this piece I have sent an email on to see if they still have it. It is in Knoxville for $8 and since I am in Knoxville a lot, I could pick it up.

Another butterprint mixing bowl for $10 locally in Knoxville.

Indiana had a listing of these fridgies. Just $3 for each one. Not a bad deal at all. Finding fridgies with lids is hard to do especially at such a good price.

This gooseberry bowl is a pattern I love. It is in Pennsylvania for $15

I really want to go to Quakertown, PA. They have this striped bowl for just $9. These are hard to find around here.

This casserole dish is $10 in Seattle. I have seen two of these locally and they were $25 and $35 so $10 is a good deal.

The following items do not have prices and they are in an antique store in Anchorage, Alaska. I have always wanted to visit Alaska. Now that I have a reason to go.

What about your corner of the world? Are you Pyrex poor or is there an abundance of it?
