A good week so far....

I bought a new tablecloth about 4 weeks ago but have been so busy tired lazy that I just now got around to putting it on the table. I am really into medallions right now and I fell in love with this when I saw it.

The pattern goes good with my Town and Country pattern in my Pyrex bowl.

I found a matching dishtowel to go with it.

I also found this medallion rug that compliments it very well.

When I came home the other day, the UPS man had dropped off a couple of boxes.

My new shirt that I wanted to get for Conference was in it. I love it.

I got my Team Shirt a couple of weeks ago. That's two new Thirty-One shirts for Conference.

I also got a couple of little mini zipper pouches. These patterns are so cute.

It's been a pretty good week so far.

Mid Week Update

I have started back making my plastic canvas coasters. I have given away just about every one I have made. This just took an hour.

I need to get some of this yellow yarn and make my daughter some Minions. She loves them.

I came home the other day and I had a box in my chair on the porch.

I was excited because I knew what it was going to be. I loved how much packing was used to ensure it arrived safely.

When I took the top layer of packing out, she had enclosed this sweet little card.

I couldn't wait to unlayer all the bubble wrap.

And more bubble wrap....

And finally, the moment I had been waiting on....My Pyrex trade had arrived. It is the golden acorn space saver. I am in love. I have wanted this for so long and all it cost was the shipping for the trade.

It is now residing in its new space and I think it looks pretty good sitting there. Thank you Diana from the Pyrex 4 Trade Facebook group.

Fourth of July Sparkle

I have the most adorable great niece. I went to my Facebook page yesterday after looking for some Pinterest 4th of July ideas. I found the prettiest 4th of July sparkle on the face of  Ms. M. Isn't she just adorable?

Too cute for words.

Weekend Wrap Up

I had a pretty uneventful weekend. I caught up on a lot of housework and attended a birthday party for a 4 year old. The Mom had used a lot of Pinterest ideas for a Frozen theme. My favorite was "Do you want to build a snowman?" bags.

We did stop by the New Market Fire Department fundraiser for about an hour to check out some of the booths. I was surprised to run into my neighbor, Joe Moore. Yes, I literally live beside Santa Claus.

He not only actively plays the role and lives the life of Santa, he is a published author who brings the real meaning of Christmas back into our lives. I am getting ready to purchase his second book (he has a trilogy right now).

Other than that, I had a pretty relaxing weekend.

I need your opinion....

I love wearing nail polish and have worn it since 8th grade. I always do my own manicures and am never seen without polish, though lately I don't keep them up like I should. Here is my dilemma. I am going to the Thirty-One National Conference in about 30 days and I want to have absolutely to die for nails. For the first time in my life I am going to have a full blown manicure and do something daring. I won't do fake nails though, just want my natural ones to look good. Please leave a comment on which number nail you like the best. Thirty-One's colors are pink and my team slogan is "Leave a little SPARKLE wherever you go." So I am leaning toward pink and glittering silver. Please help me decide. Thanks.

Please leave a comment and let me know which one you like the best. Remember it is for a special occasion with over 14,000 women who love glitz, glimmer and blink so I need something fantastic.

A gift from a friend...

My friend, Georgeanna, is one of the sweetest ladies I know. She loves to craft and crochet and sew. She brings me a little gift bag for every holiday. She called last night and wanted to stop by. She came in carrying this little bag.

She makes these adorable dish towels with potholders. I hang them on my Baker's rack for various holidays. This will be my 4th of July one.

You know I love the crocheted dish cloths. I use them for everything.

I think this has been my favorite one so far that she made. I love it.

And what a cute apron. Now I always say I wish somebody could combine an apron with a towel to wipe your hands on as you cook. Now I have one.

And of course, knowing my love of Junior Mints, she made me a little jar filled with them.

Later, hubby fixed supper on the grill. He made smoked sausage with peppers and onions as well as fried potatoes and corn-on-the-cob. He is loving the new infrared grill.

All I know is that it was delicious.
