Let me just say WOW!

I wanted to share something with all my fellow Pyrex fans. They have introduced a few new pieces as part of their 100th anniversary. So I had to check it out. They have revamped the popular measuring cup set that has been with red numbers as long as I can remember. You can check all the new styles I am featuring today by visiting the Pyrex site or the Corningware site.

I have fallen in love with the turquoise one. The bigger numbers are perfect for my older age.

From what I saw on their website, the 4 cup still comes in the red.

But the best thing I think they have is the famous Dot pattern in a new style bowl with a lid. Loving the red. This is going on my wish list.

Not a big fan of the green, but wanted to show you the options.

The navy is pretty.

But my fave, fave, fave is the turquoise dots. I am looking for this today. From what I am hearing from my Pyrex groups, these bowls range from $4.99 - $6.99, depending on where you find them. I am checking Target. I know for a fact they have the turquoise measuring cup. And rumor has it that the Corningware store in Sevierville has the bowls. I will be a woman on a mission this weekend. That is for sure.

While I was on the Corningware site, I discovered all these beautiful new baking dishes in a wide variety of color.

And check out the one with a pattern. Does this remind anybody of the old Pyrex Verde square flowers pattern?

This is there newest bakeware set. Four pieces for under $50. I have seen women pay $80 for 4 piece set of the vintage so this isn't bad for brand new.

While I was on Corningware's site, I had to pop over to see the Corelle dish pattern. I think Mom would love the new Square Country Dawn pattern.

All the new patterns are so gorgeous that it makes me want to have a huge yard sale and sell all my dish sets and get brand new. I really like the new Impressions Sunshine pattern.

And before Christmas I would love to have the Cheerful Flurry.

But then I saw these and thought they would be perfect for my new dishes. I like the Spring Pink pattern.

But THEN I saw the Happy Days pattern and fell in love.

But at the same time, there is something so simple and down to earth with the Livingware Tree & Bird pattern.

But then I saw the South Beach. I am all about those dots right now so I just can't decide which pattern I would like the best.

Guess I'll just keep my existing dishes until I can make up my mind.

Facebook Friday

I am praying that this was the last of the ice and snow and that we are going to see signs of spring soon. Here are some things that caught my eye on Facebook today that I thought were worth sharing. My boss and I recently switched offices. I now have the only room with a door. I am beginning to think this picture may be a clue to why he so readily agreed to trade offices with me when I asked him to.

Oh, please, oh please give me this kind of time out. My new favorite saying I heard the other day is "I'm just a flip flop away from a vacation."

Well, we have all seen or enjoyed making Gingerbread houses at Christmas time. What about Peep houses for Easter. Isn't this so cute.

I don't know if it is 16 days or not because I don't know when this was originally posted. But just the words ONLY and TILL SPRING is very encouraging.

Poor old snowman. Not his fault. He is just the RESULT of all the snow, not the reason for it.

Our school has only went about 2 days in the past 2 1/2 weeks. So many parents have been at home with the kids most of that time due to being working moms or simply because they couldn't make it to work. There have been so many Frozen and Elsa jokes floating around. But this is by far the funniest thing. If you need a good laugh, you have got to watch this. Especially if you have been stuck at home with a little one who thinks snow is a reason to sing Let It Go all day long.

Good friends, good food, good fun...

Tuesday night I had some much needed "girl" time with my Thirty-One sisters. I adore this group of women. We have become very close over the last few years. we went to a neat little restaurant called The Mason Jar Cafe.

It isn't real big and the place was packed, but we had reserved some seats.

Pretty in pastel...

As I was looking for headers for one of my Facebook groups, I stumbled across some beautiful pictures of items in pastel colors. This has really gotten me in the spring mood. Which is a good thing, since we have another round of snow and ice that is supposed to arrive tonight. Is this mess ever going to end? I am so ready for spring. Hope these pictures will bring a little sunshine in your life today.

Mr. UPS

I had to rant last week about Mr. UPS. They carried my shipment around on their truck for one full week before they delivered it. My road was fine on 3 or 4 of those days. But with all the horrible weather, they were so bogged down with packages they just couldn't get them all delivered.

But he finally made it on Friday and once I got to see my pretties he brought me, I forgot all about being upset with him. I had a Thirty-One party and earned some awesome hostess benefits. I am so in love with my new tote bag for the summer. This bag is around $80 and because I was the hostess of the party, I was able to get it for just $20 and the personalization was free. I love Thirty-One.

I am really into anything with acorns and where I found out we could customize any bag with an anchor icon, I just had to get the mini canvas crew tote for my spring purse.

My daughter ordered her one as well and I love the way her initials turned out on it.

A friend of mine ordered the new mini diamond district purse with matching wallet. I already have the wallet and I'm doing another order right now. For my hostess rewards on this order, I am going to pick this pink purse. I am loving pink this year.

We got snowed in and had to cancel our February Celebrate & Connect meeting so we did some phone training and then met with our leader to get our amenity. It was one of the monogram initial necklaces from the new JK by Thirty-One jewelry line that launches on March 16th. I am loving it. And we each got our initial for our first name, which thrilled me.

My daughter is a consultant as well, so she was able to get hers Saturday as well. We just loved the fact that Thirty-One took the time and expense to package them in little wooden boxes. It was just too adorable.

Now if we could just get spring to get here so I can care my spring purse.

Welcome March

Finally, March is here. Spring is around the corner. I saw my first robin in the tree outside the kitchen window. It always gives me hope to see that. To me it is a sign that maybe, just maybe we won't get too much more bad weather.

But what encourages most is when I start seeing the daffodils growing wild along the roadside. To me that is a sure sign that spring is on the way. Obviously, I haven't seen that yet, but I am holding out hope.

Not sure is March will be coming in like a lion or a lamb. It is raining today so I know it is coming in wet. What worries me is when all this snow we have had gets washed away with rain, will we start having flooding issues?

I don't think the lake water is high enough that they will have to open the flood gates. It is very rare when they do, but it is very awesome to watch. People come from miles around to watch them let the water out when that happens.

As I sit here typing this, the heavens just opened up with a downpour. Glad I found my lost umbrella yesterday. It's going to be a wet one out there and I have three errands to run on my lunch hour.

Yes, no matter what, March is definitely coming in wet if nothing else. Enjoy your day.
