A visit with my daughter...

Fall is in full swing at my daughter Diana's house. I think of all the fall things she has done, this is my absolute favorite.

Her fireplace comes in a close second.

I just love everything.

I love this display as well.

She is blessed to have married a man who loves fall as much as she does.

He knows her so well. She's not one that needs surprised with diamonds or jewels. She knows he loves her when she comes home from work and he surprised her with hay bales.

Then he made her even happier when he said they were going to go pumpkin shopping on Saturday. They ended up getting everything they needed to do the yard for fall.

The kids enjoy it as much as Diana and Michael do so everybody pitched in and before the day was done, fall had arrived.

Hope you enjoyed visiting our visit with Diana today.

Another fall family visit to WV

Yesterday, we "took" a trip to visit my niece Amy's fall home decor. Today, we are returning on our visit to WV and "heading" over to visit with my cousin, Amy. Yes, we are blessed with two Amy's. I am really excited about the fact she has a few Halloween things in her fall because I am starting this week to stick some of my Halloween faves around in my fall as well. So let's take a look at Amy's home.

The one that I fell in love with is this. It looks like the old stands from Hardware stores where they displayed nails and screws. Since she love antiques like the rest of us, I am wondering if it is one.

I love the little scarf with the pumpkins.

Her and her sister Nancy, another of my cousins, made this recently. The whole family are master crafters.

Here is some more of her cute decor.

But oh my goodness, I went nuts over this. I see old gas cans and old crates all the time at good prices. Never thought about doing something like this.

She is very talented at putting things together.

I hope you enjoyed our stop at Amy's house today. Come back on Thursday and Friday and visit some more of my family.

Fall is in the air at Amy's house....

It's that time of year. Everywhere you look their is a new add for something pumpkin spiced. Their are decorations inside and out as fall gets into full swing. My niece and my daughter are decorated and their houses look awesome. My niece, Amy, is the daughter of my sister Rachel.

Check out some of her gorgeous fall items.

I am loving this little truck with the pumpkins.

I have a table similar to this. I haven't even decorated it for fall. I need to remedy that mistake.

I am a sucker for solid white pitchers with flowers. I need to get one. Maybe I could do it on my little table for the fall.

Another cute pumpkin in a truck.

I am loving the baby blue incorporated into fall stuff this year.

Thank you Amy for letting us visit with you today. Join me later this week when we visit my daughter and check out her decor. Then on Friday, Rachel is coming back for a guest visit with her outside fall decor. It promises to be a very good week for getting you in a fall mood.

Happy birthday, Colby

My youngest grandbaby turns 8 years old today. Colby was born with a head full of dark hair. He weighed less than 5 pounds.

This is one of my favorite pics of him and Papaw. He was so tiny.

He has always been a happy little fellow. Always smiling and laughing.

It was easy to catch great pictures of that big smile of his.

He finds humor in everything. even climbing in my shopping bags when I try to load them in the car. You never know what he is going to do next.

Playing miniature golf with him is a riot. He is always being funny.

He is the family sports star. He loves his baseball and will play it or practice every chance he gets. He is really good at it. He even got picked up for a travel team a couple of years ago and they have won a ton of games. For a couple of years he played on the local team as well.

This year, he is playing football in additional to travel baseball. He looks so little out on the field. He is the quarterback and can run like the wind.

He is such a cutie pie and like I said, he is forever smiling.

Happy birthday, Colby James. We love you so much.
