My visit to Global Gifts
In the city of Columbus, OH there is a district known at "The Short North". It is a neighborhood centered on the main strip of High Street immediately north of downtown and extending until just south of the Ohio State University campus area. In that district is a store called Global Gifts. I stumbled across it last year at my Thirty-One National Conference and couldn't wait to go back this year. Check it out...
My friend Jenna who loves to do some Christmas shopping each time we go here.
There are so many unique items, I'll show you some of the different sections.
See that tea for two set in the back? I bought that last year on my first trip there.
Debbie at Jeremiah-2911.com will love the little owls.
Again some birds and owls for Ms. Debbie.
I love the jewelry area. Could spend all day just browsing all the choices.
So, with all these wonderful items available, do you want to see what I bought for myself.
Thirty-One has had a bicycle theme at last years conference and I bought a necklace charm and a t-shirt with a bike. This year, they have come out with a bicycle on some of the products. So needless to say, I had to have this bicycle.
They have a gorgeous polished rock collection in heart shapes. Last year, I bought IMAGINE. This year, I bought BELIEVE. I love these.
But my favorite purchase of all was this beautiful red and gold bracelet. I wear so much red, especially in winter. Plus red is one of the new colors in Thirty-One products this year which thrilled me because red is my favorite color. So I knew it was meant to be for me to buy this bracelet.
If you are ever in Columbus, you should visit this store out. They have three locations in Indiana as well. You can follow Global Gifts by clicking these links on:

Unique wall art
Friday Foto Friends
There is a section of Columbus, OH called the Short North area. It is a unique shopping/restaurant area that is very quaint. On some of the buildings they allow wall art to be painted on the side of the building. Here are some pics I took of the wall art on the section I visited. We only had a limited time frame so we just went to our favorite store. I would have loved to had the time to go to all the sections of this district and get more pics. But I did love the ones I saw.

My amazing trip
I survived Thirty-One National Conference. Over 10,000 women. Lots of great music. Some fascinating speakers. Wonderful training for our business. Great food. Good times and of course our wonderful amenities. Here's the amenities we received which is also a sneak peak of some of the new fall line. We even had a couple of our items personalized with our initials when we received them. I am in love with the new fall line.
Then of course we got our new journals which has tons of space for notes and calendars at the back. And then our wonderful badges we all love to collect along with the 31 pins they give us. We always love getting our new conference ink pen as well.
Then of course we had to shop the conference store for those items that are only offered once a year in the store.
Our team leader bought us all an inspirational dish towel and a key charm.
Two of the friends I traveled with had names starting with K so their back packs were K. We lined them up together against a wall and took a pic just because the three of us walking down the street together spelled out my initials Brenda Kay Keefer.

This was possibly my favorite conference so far. We had a lot of time to play tourist so I will post more on that tomorrow. Have a great Thursday.

Good Morning....
I have been missing in action these past few days. I have been at my Thirty-One National Conference. It was an amazing trip. Visited some unique stores while we were in Columbus, OH. I traveled with three of my Thirty-One sisters and we had a blast. We came home last night and didn't get home till about 2:00 this morning. I was back up around 7:30 so I'm sure a nap is in my future today. We left Columbus around 7:00 last night and drove through the night. We were playing rap music and Maroon 5 to stay awake. Around 12:30 or 1:00, Krista and I were eating potato chips and fudge. I have never laughed so hard in my life as I did during the trip home. Love these gals to pieces.

I just wanted to stop in with an update today to let you know I will be back at my posting tomorrow. Have a great Tuesday.

Friday Foto Friends...
What a more appropriate post on Friday Foto Friends than to reshare what Ms. Debbie who hosts Friday Foto Friends shared with me on Facebook. She knows I love nail polish. Talk about something easy to make.
Speaking of nail polish, I just bought me some hot pink, white and sparkling silver/gray. I need it for my nails for conference. We always do our nails in something than just one solid color for conference. It's almost a tradition. Now I just need to decide what unique way to do my nails. I like this one really well, but I would make the white nail a pink nail with the white dots. But I could never do the strips that neat.
Absolutely positively love this one but have no clue how they did that criss cross pattern so it's out, but it's just so neat I had to share it.
I like this one, but would leave the heart off. Although, believe it or not, I can do the heart. I have a tiny hole punch for scrapbooking that is a little heart. You punch the heart out of a piece of washi tape and put on the nail with the polish there. Then you paint over the washi tape hole with the color you want the heart. After it dries, lift off the tape and you have the heart like this. But it is time consuming. But other than the heart, this is the design I'm doing. Just going to use hot pink instead of pale pink.
