There are so many instances of faith in our life. As you all know, faith is my keyword; my motto. I just love the word. I was pondering whether to continue my Faith Filled Friday due to a lack of people to interview; but a couple of my sweet friends urged me to continue. I was debating what to do when I went to church this past Sunday night. Lo and behold, the message was about faith. The pastor encouraged us to step out and trust the Lord. So I will continue it each Friday until I'm led otherwise.
I do not feel like God would have given me this wonderful gift of faith if He did not want me to share it with others. Faith is what keeps me going day after day. Faith is the one thing in life you can never ever give up on. Without faith, life would simply be an empty void. No hope for a future; no dreams to come true. I am reminded of that beautiful poem "Don't Quit". I know you have all heard it numerous times but it is so true. We need to keep the faith; stick with our goals and never ever give up on our dreams.
DON'T QUIT
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow--
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than,
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up,
When he might have captured the victor's cup,
And he learned too late when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out--
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far,
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit--
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.
