I was at Walmart Saturday and saw this new griddle. Hubby says we need a new one and we probably do because ours is old and about worn out from so much use. This one caught my eye because it has a warmer tray underneath. Pretty cool. I was so excited to take a pic to show hubby that I forgot to look at the price. Oh well, maybe next trip.
We were on our way to Target and saw a new Thrift Store that had just opened. I did a quick traffic check behind me, zipped on my blinker and whipped into the parking lot. First thing that caught my eye was something I've been looking for over a year now. I wanted one for those Sunday mornings I make cinnamon rolls and have a couple left over for hubby. I always think "I wish I had a little cheese board and lid that I could set the remaining cinnamon rolls in for hubby." Well, now I do. And it was only $2.88!
At a yard sale on Saturday morning, I found this adorable hand stitched dresser scarf. I couldn't resist. I love vintage linens. I need to wash it up and decide where to display it.
These scarves were just too pretty to walk away from ... especially at just .25 cents each.
I knew Hubby would love this. Even though it is only about 5 years old, he collects the antique style so I thought he would like a modern one to add to his collection. Do you know what it is?
A three piece butter dish. You put a little ice in the bottom piece, set the top piece on with the butter and cover with the lid. It keeps the butter cool all day.
Most of the ones he has are round with a piece inside the plate part that the butter sits on and ice or cold water goes underneath. This is my favorite one which happens to be the first one he ever bought.
I got my new cell phone case yesterday. I AM IN LOVE! It was from a shop on Amazon and I only pay $4.89 and that included shipping. It was exactly what I have been looking for.
I hope everyone enjoys their day today. Only 2 more days after today and I get a three day weekend. I can't wait.

Oh, Ms. Brenda, that dresser scarf really brought back memories. My Mamaw loved to stitch those. She made me one and it's on a table that she also gave me. Thank you for the comment a while back that you were praying for my Mom. Life has been very busy for me with her sickness and....well, just life!! HOPE all is well with you!
I'm looking forward to that three-day weekend coming up, too! Love your finds (always!)!
Thank you ladies. Ms. Debbie, Mom was forever making dresser scarves. I learned to embroidery in 8th grade and used to make a lot of pillow cases. I need to find some patterns and give it a try to see if I remember. It is a lost art. Take care.
