Esther 4:14 is one of my favorite bible verses. I did a Beth Moore bible study several years ago on Esther. In this verse, Mordecai is urging Esther to intercede on behalf of her people in order to save them. The last part of that verse "For such a time of this?" has stuck with me. Through hard times and good times, just out of the blue when I am thinking about my blessing or stressing over my woes, that verse will pop into my head. I believe it is God's way of telling me that I am where I am at that moment in my life because there is where He wants me to be. I may not know the reason and where I am at that time may make no sense to me whatsoever, but in God's eyes He has brought me there "for such a time as this." It is so much easier to accept your current situation in life once you accept that it is all a part of God's master plan.
Last night on Facebook, I saw the following post. As you read through it and you see the things that disrupted people's lives the morning of September 11, 2001. In some cases you can just imagine their frustration at being late or having to make an unscheduled stop. Whatever the reason, they were not where they normally would be and on that fateful day, their life was spared. As I read the following, all I could think of was that each of these people were brought where they were for such a time a this.
So when you find yourself somewhere you really don't want to be in your life, just remember that God brought you there...for such a time of this.

We did that study together and it was probably my favorite of all Beth Moore studies. That's a powerful verse to cling to at such a time as this that you're going through. Praying.
I so believe in this. God puts us where are are supposed to be. Of course, we are responsible for the choices we make, but if we can be quiet and listen with our hearts.... God speaks to us. Yes.
