I was reading a book tonight and the lady was bidding online for a samovar that her daughter wanted. So I googled it to see what a samovar was. Turns out it is a highly decorated tea urn used in Russia. Of course, then I had to Google a picture. And fell in love. Of course it is related to tea pots so you knew I would like it. Here are some pretty ones I found online.

You did find some pretty ones! How interesting! It's funny that we don't see them more often since it looks like a great way to serve tea, especially at a party or "tea time".
So beautiful. People had time to enjoy the simple things then. (We do too, but these dang iPhones... ;-)
