Well, it's been about 5 months since I posted. My life has been busy. But I miss blogging. I miss following other blogs and miss hearing from my friends. Over the next few days, I'll share some things that have been happening these past few months. But today, I just wanted to share a few things. For July, I made some patriotic mini rolling pins and displayed them in one of my Pyrex Charm bowls.
I wanted to do a wreath for fall to hang up in September. But I never have good luck decorating wreaths. I had purchased the supplies at Hobby Lobby and Dollar Tree, but I couldn't find the wreath form I wanted. But a side trip to Dollar General ended up with me seeing a woodend cutting board with a loop for hanging and inspiration hit.
Always go with your gut instincts. I couldn't be more pleased with the end result.
One of my other creations was food wise. It was just a chocolate cake with homemade chocolate frosting but it looked to good not to get a picture.

I've missed you and I miss blogging too! It's been years since I've posted. Instagram just makes it too easy to show little tidbits of what is going on in my life and with life being so busy, that's the easiest way for me to do it right now! So glad to see a new post from you! Thank cake looks amazing and your wreath is perfection!
