My sweet babies. Meet Gracie (left) and Goose (right). They are a sister and brother from the same litter. He was the first born and she was the fourth from a litter of five. The lady I got them from still has the other three siblings, all black and white with a small spot of orange calicos. Goose is an orange tabby and the mom was a calico. Gracie however is a Diluted Calico. Which means she has the grays and some orange blended in. It is a special rare breed and only 1 in every 1000 calicos have this coloring. They were born April 13, 2023 and they came to live in their forever home around the last week of June 2023.
Cats are considered kittens until they are 2 years old and they are just 16 months. So technically they are kittens but to me they are my babies. They get along so good. But they also rat each other out. If one is doing something they shouldn't the other comes to me and just stares at me until I follow them. It's hysterical. They have their favorite places to lay, but the majority of the time they lay within a few feet of each other or on the couch together. It's so adorable. I love my fur babies.
They are definitely house cats. I did have them fixed but they still have their claws. They don't ever go outside because I don't really want them to. But if I open the door so they can come out to the porch, they stare outside and dart back in and hide. They are so much fun to watch.
Leave me a comment if you are a fur baby parent. I would love to hear about your babies.
